What bachelor degree to persue for MBA

hi guys,
I’ve just given my 12th exams with 95% aggregate! initially my plans were to pursue my engineering but I’ve reconsidered and dropped the thought of doing it since it has no practical usage and of no help really since my main aim is to get into the top B schools… I would like you to suggest me a bachelors degree program that would give me an edge over others who wish to do their MBA’s from other fields. And i would also like to know if its too early now to start preparing for the CAT from institutes like TIME or when is the appropriate time to start over? I’m very good at maths and have been on the dot with cent percent marks till date in all my boards…my parents are suggesting me to take Maths-Stats-Computers as my bachelors degree but i feel the BBA program would be much better in terms of keeping me ahead….please help!!!
