Hi Dr. Mishra, I had attended a summer program on entrepreneurship at UCLA. I would say it was a very nice experience. Kind of a quick look on some aspects of management with a focus on entrepreneurship. Not in a position to particularly tell about how useful it would be to a dental undergrad. Look at what areas of mgmt, you want to explore. Then see if the program touches upon these. Would you be able to form some contacts ? Does the program have a practical component, industry interaction etc? What kind of student-profile does the program attract ? Hope this at least gives you some points to explore further. Nonetheless, to launch a career in management would be totally dependent on you, the participant. I'm told Stanford has a wonderful entrepreneurship summer program in which I believe the participants prepare a business plan and present it to venture capitalists by the end of the program. Well, I think you should first focus on what you want to gain through a summer program. Also, note that a summer program is very short compared to an MBA.
