Summer Internship

I am a 2nd year civil engineering student at IIT-Delhi.
I have been looking for foreign intern since about 3 last weeks, but no positive reply yet.
I am looking for someone who can guide me regarding the selection process of the Professor to whom i should try for summer internship with!!
