In pursuit of a good Internship

I,Mayank Singhal,am a 3rd year student pursuing B.Tech Program in the department of Electronics And Telecommunications Engineering at Jadavpur University.I would like to apply for an internship in the summer of 2012 either in a university in europe or in a core electronics/telecommunications company.I am currently working in the field of Embedded Systems and Wireless Sensor Network and communication .What are the available student exchange programmes(other than DAAD) through which i can pursue an internship abroad free of costs or by paying a minimum amount of money(around 20-30k INR).Also I have been searching for industrial internships in India as well as abroad,but havent found any core company that accepts interns for a period of two months and provides exposure to actual engineering work and allows them to exercise their technical skills and knowledge acquired.I wish for some guidance and help.Thank you.
