Masters/PHD in Computer Science and Engineering

Hi,
I am a junior Computer Science student at IIT Ropar, and I am aiming to do a master's/ phd in Computer Science from Stanford University.
I recently appeared for GRE though I could not get a good score this time. I plan to appear again in the future.

Just after the GRE exam one has the option of applying to 4 institutions directly in which I applied to Stanford also. Now I need to know what is the next step after this.
I do not have a very high CGPA too 8.16 :( which makes further difficult for me to get into Stanford.
What other colleges should I apply to and how?

There are two options in the department when sending the scores, one is the Computer Science and the other is Computer Programming. What is the difference between these two?

Can somebody please enlighten me ?
