IT Career in Confusion

Hi

I am Prosenjit from Kolkata. I was an IT professional. ‘Was’ in the sense that now I am job less due to last year’s recession. My career has gone through various roller costar rides. Giving you a brief about my academic and professional background:-
I did my B.Com(H) in 1998. At that time I was doing a Diploma software engineering course from Aptech Ltd. I completed in 1999 and got a job in Aptech Ltd as a faculty. In year 2001 I had to quit that job, as Aptech decided to close lot of branches. In year 2002 out of frustration I started my own computer training institution in my residence. I was basically teaching Engineering student (IT,CS) etc. Got a strong hold on Java, C, C++ etc. When I started there was only 2-3 students and with 2-3 years I had 60-70 students an I was earning good. At that time I went for MCA degree from IGNOU (last sem is in june 2010). I got married in 2004 and due to some financial issues and family pressure I left the business in my wife’s hand and start finding job again. In 2006 by the suggestion of few friends i did a CCNA course on networking from IIHT. In 2007 I got a job in Wipro infotech (Under vendor payroll) as a technical support executive for HDFC Bank. I spent 2 years there and in last year they show me pink letter and due to recession I had to quit the job again. Till Sept 2009 till now I am job less.

Now situation is such I am not able to decide should I again go for job hunting ? or concentrate on my family business and own business (which I had earlier)? I have a little daughter now, so money matters for me now. If I go for job along with my above academic and professional profile will I be successful ? If so then where should I try or for what sort of job should I try ? How long it will take to get some success (financial) in life ? Or should I quit everything and go for family and my existing old business ?

Plz suggest me …… I am in lot of confusion….
