Ideal place to start my career

I am a Software Engineering student and I shall be graduating in June 2011.
I have decided to make a career for myself in the IT Services sector. I am passionate about participating in large projects across the globe, working across verticals.
My predicament is that the big companies that fit my profile (TCS, Infosys, HCL etc) do mass hiring in India, and the compensation as well as work opportunities aren't very good.
I have done very well in my studies, and interned with top product company. I do not want to miss the opportunity of starting my career in a top tier company.
I need help in identifying some high-end IT Services company that recruit able students and give excellent career opportunities.
I am open to Consultancy companies too.

Please give some insight on how I may identify suitable companies, or name any that you think would meet my needs.
