How should I start preparing for CAT 2010 from now on ?
Can you please suggest me how to strategise for CAT 2010 Exam. How much time should I devote in giving mock tests and when should I start giving them?
Thanks for your help.

Hey, Mock tests are a very integral part of one's preparation for the "Dreaded" CAT exam. I would suggest you start off your preparation, by giving one mock test to see where you stand so to speak in terms of the different sections and sub sections. You would get to know your strengths and weaknesses in various areas such as if you are a Fast Reader and have been regularly reading books, newspapers etc, you would find the Reading Comprehension which is generally regarded as one of the toughest sections of the CAT pretty easy. Analyzing your strengths and weaknesses is the key to your success in cracking the CAT. Get a good collection of Mock CATs ready before you start off your prep. Institutes like TIME, CL, Roots etc have about 15-20 mock cats every year, and it should not be a problem getting hold of most of them. One simple suggestion is that you could also practice questions from the Mock cats from the sections you are facing trouble with , depending on your level ( which you would decide after giving the first mock cat). 2 years 9 weeks ago |

You should start immediately. Study each subject for atleast an hour daily. SOlve all the previous year papers. And mock tests are indispensable. Since CAT is now online, you should practice tests online only.... 1 year 49 weeks ago |

Time Management and Selection are the two most important reasons for your success in CAT. Keep that in mind, give the first mock , see where you stand and get back to us.
And Remember, its all just a hype.
