Engineering Projects in IITs

How do I enroll in IIT's or any other institution for doing an project in summer vacation i.e how to get contacts??? Since I have cgpa of 8/10, it is very difficult to get a project in such institutions. So what should I do now????

Hi karthik ,
I am a B-tech student of IIT delhi , I can help you with this , Tell me what kind of project u are interested in ,and your interest area , i will send u the email ids of the relevant profs, you can mail them your resume.Further if you want to mail your resume to other IITs prof , you can go to the website of the respective IITs , see the individual webpages of each prof and find out their research areas and mail them your resume , most of them have their email ids displayed on their webpages.

i also want to ask question that i am in final year at M.B.M. Engineering College. My major is Electrical Engineering and i have to complete two final year projects. so can u suggest me something. i am interested in hardware+software projects in signal processing or control systems.
if u need any background information for it then please let me know.
If I get suceeded in converting some project ideas in practical in these fields then it will amazing for me
