EFFECTIVE WAYS TO STUDY MATHS

I know preparing notes is greatly helpful in studies, but when it comes to maths what notes do we prepare? Just make a list of the formulae? Wouldn’t it be so boring? How can i make interesting and effective notes for maths? And for practising the problems in maths, i’ve to first study all the formulae which run into tens and hundreds. It’s really frustating. Please tell a better way. I’m in trouble with maths.

Learning formulae ( which run into hundreds) is a bitter but unavoidable part of maths. The way to make this less painful is by once deriving all formulae in writing, so that you have a feel for them, and then writing them down on a piece of paper and rote learning it to a level that you can write them all down in your sleep. unless you do this there is no point in going on to solving questions. FIRST learn all formulae, then start doing questions. The doing questions is the fun and interesing part, and in any case , who said IIT preperation is cake walk

I am afraid that you seek for entertainment where it shouldn't be in the least. It may sound totally frustrating))) but without studying all the formulae you aren't going to achieve success in this amazing science. Only after this stage you will realize a little bit more, new possibilities will appear. Don't be lazy.))) For now I may suggest that you consider this http://www.pdfok.com/mathematical-formulas for you to make it easier. :)
