Shubham Singhal

Shubham has always been a hard working individual. Getting into IIT Delhi was one of the biggest turning points in his life. At IIT Shubham was the only student in his batch to be awarded the Kalpana Chawla Scholarship. He was also given the TCS Best B.Tech Project Award by IIT Delhi. While pursuing his research he also interned at Yahoo! and Kritikal Solutions (a start-up) to gain industry experience. He was also the placement representative for his department at IIT Delhi and was awarded the best placement team. He was also part of IIT Delhi's Annual Cultural Festival Organizing Team.

After graduating from IIT Shubham chose to work for LimeWire LLC in New York. He was given the responsibility to work on a new and innovative web based project called LimeExchange. While working he developed an interest towards finance and decided to pursue his mba. At IIM Calcutta Shubham is one of the top rankers in his class securing awards for the best performance in finance courses. He pursued his summer internship with sales & trading division of Morgan Stanley. He represented his school at UCLA Anderson School of Management for the student exchange program. In the past one year he has lived in Delhi, Calcutta, London, New York and Los Angeles. Apart from the academic life he is a part of the debating club and external relations club at IIM Calcutta as well.
