Write a TestimonialI would generally never call myself an expert at anything, because that would mean that one needs to focus on one particular thing over several years or even decades. However, I have personal experience relating to the above and a proven track record for the first three areas. In many cases it has been a rough road to get where I wanted and I wish I had more people to learn from when I was at these stages.
Education - I applied to a few grad schools in the UK to pursue a Masters in Finance and after writing a personal statement and a 30mins interview with a professor from the Finance faculty I was admitted into a relatively new course in Oxford - MSc in Financial Economics.
Career, Banking - I filled in countless online applications for internships at top-tier investment banks in London. Before, landing an internship in the DCM (Debt Capital Markets) Division of ABN AMRO (Now RBS)in London, I interviewed with three of the top 10 investment banks.
Career, Consulting - After my masters I applied for a full-time job with most of top-ranking, global management consulting companies. The applications were all Cover Letter and CV based and left me with interviews with 4 companies (2 in London, 1 in Singapore and 1 in Dubai). Eventually, I took a job offer from Oliver Wyman's Dubai office to work in their General Management practice.
Entrepreneurship - Just started out in February 2009, here in Mumbai, and am very eager to learn from others as well as share what I have learned so far.
