Joy played a major role in opening Groomers, an institute aimed at teaching engineering students the requisite technical and personal skills needed to crack company tests and interviews. And also conducted many sessions in colleges in Delhi, Noida and Jhansi. He has a deep understanding of the dynamics at play and the challenges in a start-up which are very often neglected.

Joy was a part-time faculty at IMS for 2006-08 for Quantitative, DI and Personality Building Classes. He also coordinated the well renowned Achievers Workshop at IMS for 2006 and 2007 (primarily responsible for GD/PI Coaching). He also coordinated and conducted the entire Quantitative and Data Interpretation classes for Roots Education (MBA Guru) for CAT 2008 at its Panipat Centre. It gives him great joy to see over 25 of his students at the above institutes pursue quality post-graduate management education at IIM’s and other top B-Schools of the country

Having secured top ranks in high school and graduation, he was one of the top performers at FMS. He was appointed the head of the academics committee at his college and also gained expertise in training/counseling students towards success during his stints at various organizations during his masters.
During his masters, he won numerous competitions/events across the country including IIMB, IIMC, XLRI, NMIMS, IMT and FMS.
He also played the guitar and has a diploma in instrumental music and has his interests in music, reading and playing cricket.
