He did this internship at Iowa State University, United States in summer 2008. In 2009, even during the recession time, he got three offers for internship at - University of Rostock, Germany through DAAD scholarship, Georgia Institute of Technology, United States and Iowa State University, United States.
Gaurav is currently a fourth year student in the Department of Mathematics at Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
Gaurav has worked in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at Iowa State University, United States for two consecutive summer 2008 and 2009 and has very good experience in the fields of Image Processing, Databases and Optical Networks.
Currently studying in the fourth year at IIT Kharapur, Gaurav is aiming to study Business at a reputed school in the United States.
Apart from studies, Gaurav is a member of Sankalp organisation in the United States for the poor people in India. He is fond of travelling and visited almost all the major cities in the United States including Las Vegas, Los Angeles, New York City, Miami, Chicago.
