Work Experience:
Currently, I am working for the Office of Technology Development at the University of Oklahoma. I am specifically looking to help develop startup companies that use University-based intellectual property. Prior to that, I spent some time writing NIH grants for a seed stage biopharmaceutical company specializing in a novel therapeutic used to treat Age-Related Blindness.
Short Profile :
I am very excited to be a part of the Mentorpolis network. What I lack in expertise I try to make up in energy and enthusiasm. I have also had a wide range of experiences ranging from serving in a national public office to writing business plans for startup companies. I am very excited to help out in any capacity.
Preferred Timing:
Monday, Wednesday, Friday (5:00 PM- 8:00 PM)
Saturday (9:00 AM- 2:00 PM)
Ideal Mentee:
My ideal mentee would be someone with varied interests who maybe just beginning to think about an entrepreneurial career. I would also really enjoy talking to someone who has yet to determine their career path. I am still unsure of my own long-term direction, and would love to grow and learn along the way with mentees.
