Abhishek Rathi

Entrepreneurship:
Abhishek started his career with a start up venture in 2004. As a founding member he dealt with issues ranging from marketing, finance, operations and above all continuously enhancing the core value proposition of the venture. He has a deep understanding of the dynamics at play and the challenges in a start up which are very often neglected leading to a success ratio of starts ups to less than about 5%. After the phase 1 of his venture he took up a full time position in a global management consulting firm. He has advised numerous fortune 100 companies across different geographies in last 3 years in the areas related to strategic tie ups, investment governance, PE acquisitions, business transformation - impacting an spend of over $2bn and delivering savings of over $200mm. A rare mix of experience - start up and advisory role for fortune 100 companies - puts Abhishek in a position to help resolve the "initial stage issues" while conforming with and even strengthening the overall vision of the company.

Interview Preparation:
In his 5 years of experience, Abhishek has been on both sides of the table. While in his current role he has been interviewing people from IIT's and IIM's, just 3 years back he interviewed with a number of companies to find that "perfect match" and well he did. In this process he has understood where a candidate needs to be tested and what is it that gives a candidate that extra edge. He believes that interview is more than a question and answer session, calls for an understanding and preparation that not everyone else is doing
